What's got my attention this week #10
Things to read, watch and listen to this weekend

SCROLLING
• Looks like TikTok is determined to reinforce users’ fear of ageing…
• I loved this piece by Annie Macmanus on realising she was lonely after quitting her high-octane job to work from home. Anyone who’s ever done this will recognise the feelings she describes.
• “Getting naked with other women helped me learn to love my body.”
• Gen X is over having our menopause and sex concerns brushed aside.
• An Italian judge cleared a school caretaker of groping a teenager because it didn’t pass his ten-second groping rule.
• Are you breathing just a little and calling it a life?
• Boundaries. Suddenly you can’t move for them.
• When I wrote about the fiftysomething women storming Glastonbury, one member of The Shift messaged me about the folk singer Shirley Collins, 88, who’s now having a resurgence after quitting singing for a cleaning job. Folk isn’t my thing so I’d never heard of her, but now I have!
