Yesterday I was interviewing a guest for an upcoming episode of The Shift podcast and we got talking about Main Character Energy. We didn’t use that phrase at the time. We were discussing adolescence and menopause, puberty and reverse puberty, and the heightened self-awareness that can go with it, when my guest told me about overhearing her now-adult daughters arguing back in their early- and mid-teens. “You’re the sister,” one hissed. “What?!” yelped the other. “No way.
